Just install the regular version from Amazon over top of the already installed version and you'll then be able to delete it just like any other app.

Interesting. Can you easily get it back if you need to?

"Just install the regular version from Amazon over top of the already installed version"

The question is how do you do this? when trying to install the version via the link you posted, Bla1ze, the phone says "you already have a newer version installed; in order to install the older version delete the older version and try again" --> (one) infinite loop.

Device monitor states the version I have is 1.6.4200.10, installed as part of OS release 10.3.0.908.

Try opening Blackberry world and accessing your app profile, click installed and hold on the app you want to delete and I believe an option will pop up to delete, hit delete.

Correct for those apps that show up in BlackBerry world. Unfortunately, Amazon App Store does not show up there.

The only solution that worked: Sachesi->install->checkmark to com.amazon.venezia.blablabla, right click, uninstall selected. God bless xsacha.

You can uninstall using CCleaner, available at the amazon appstore. You will keep the icon, but the app itself is gone. Then try as suggested otherwise and install the other version.

In my case, that turns out to be a temporary solution. After rebooting my device, I find Appstore has been reinstalled. No matter how many times I delete Appstore from my device, a reboot restores it.

I speculate that Appstore's app file (com.amazon.venezia.1.6.4000.10) is contained by one of the 200+ .bar files that I installed when I upgraded my device to 10.3.0 and 10.3.1. I have not tried alternative solutions that are proposed in this thread.

Here is another proposed solutions (which I have not tried):

yepp, that works. Amazon Appstore will be loaded again after reboot, but not anymore running in the background and also not anymore be in the list of allowed programs.

You'd think it wouldn't have to be this difficult.
