I noticed another post that discussed the fact that some people who have ATT are having problems activating visual voicemail.

I'm going to put my PP (whenever Amazon ships it) on TMo, and I'm really hoping the VVM won't be a problem.

Any info from my future TMo brethren would be appreciated.

VVM on ATT with just the Passport or in general? Because you have to call ATT to get them to activate it for it to work.

It works on my Z30 that I bought unlocked. So I assume it should work as well on Passport. I'll find out when amazon ships me mine.

I'm very curious about VVM and WiFi calling support for the Passport on T-Mobile USA. My unbranded Z10 works flawlessly, but of course the Z10 was an officially supported device on T-mo.

I have the Passport on Tmobile. VVM works fine as did it on my Z30. Wifi calling does not work.

Bump. We are 1-1 on VVM. Anybody care to post their results and break the tie?

I wonder if it's a provisioning matter that can be resolved with the IMEI trick. The trick is working for people on AT&T...

I do get a pop up message that says VVM won't work until set up. But no option is presented to set it up.

On prior Z10 never had to set anything up.

Where does one go to set it up?

For those who have a branded Q10 or Z10 (or, in general a Q10 or Z10 that has VVM,) try telling TMO that you would like to activate a new device by IMEI#. When they ask for the IMEI, give them that previous BB10 phone's IMEI. This has worked for some on AT&T--another carrier that doesn't have the Passport automatically provisioned yet.

Wifi calling would not be supported as TMO doesn't carry BlackBerry anymore.

For those whom VVM works, are you a new customer or did you use a previous IMEI?

I'm coming to TMo from VZM so I won't have a previous SIM to use. Should that matter?

So I do have VVM working now, but just discovered an odd glitch. I can listen to voice mails either through blue tooth head set or speaker phone but does not play through handset phone speaker. I only realized this recently as I'm usually sporting blue tooth.

Anyone else notice this? When played through just the phone it looks as if the message is playing but only dead space.
