    A restart should fix it.

I use CCleaner to remove such files.

Other than an application, is there a solution? Coz apps needs it's space and app caches are unremovable for majority of apps in BlackBerry.

Connect your device to a pc then remove them if you don't want an app

    Dear All/chemmutk1

I see confusion and some while trying to help do not attempt to understand your situation.
I have once come across such a problem and this is my narration of the issue step-wise.

a.) One is trying to attempt to DELETE a "file" or "folder" from the internal device (NOT an extended/appended memory card)
b.) In doing so, one gets the error "Unable to delete file/Permission denied"

In simple terms that is the narrative.

If you check permission rights for the respective application it may look OK as in "Read/Write" but strangely does not allow you to create space by deletion.

A good method to try use is to perform a MOVE as in the following steps:

    1. Under Device\WhatEverFolder\<select the File or Folder>
    2. Choose "Move" action
    3. Navigate to say Attached/Appended memory (external storage SD card, etc.)
    4. Choose "Move"

Considering SD card has enough space the files will be move, while being released from the internal storage

NB: For any/most applications, where possible, enable the application to save to external memory, and not internal memory as:
a.) you have less control over permissions.
b.) easier to connect to a PC and delete as normal storage

I hope it helps and feel free to give feedback.

    Warm Regards

    BenjaL01
