    Hi everyone,

I've been trying to make Uber work but to no success. I've downloaded the app from both GG play store and Snap v3. They are nice enough to let me click sign in or register, but every time I tried to register the "network error " happened.

That's okay. I thought I would go on the website and sign up there. Then I went back to the app and signed in. Network error again. I've tried going on to m.uber.com to login. You know the rest.

I've tried doing it on bot Wifi and my 3G (I'm in Vietnam, there's no 4G yet don't be surprised) but nothing happened. Any suggestions for me to make this work?

I use m.uber.com and it works very well.
You have to request uber to open acess via website for your account.

Could you please show me how I could request that access?

Mine seems to work as well. I've managed to log in although I haven't tried requesting an Uber with it yet.

So you register with Uber online first then log in via m.uber.com or you use the app?

You have to send them an email requesting access to their mobile web browser from your account. That's it, it's simple. :-)

Is uber app available for BB10 OS? I clicked on the above link & Uber says it supports Blackberry.

I'd been using m.uber.com but then decided to reinstall the android app, and after getting the same network error, today it seems to work... The last time I got that network error I did a restart, as the data connection seemed to have a problem in general.

I was using m.uber but switched to Android app using Cobalt's fix. I did not need to fully install Play. It is easier than that. There is a thread all about this.

The app is great because it allows me to cancel rides which was not working on m.uber. Also, I can use my Pebble watch app which is really slick.

What he said. Using Cobalt's method it works perfectly other than asking me to sign in open opening the app sporadically it's the same as if you were using it on an Android.

OP should find that thread about Uber and Cobalt. Took me 10 minutes. It's been working for 6 months. I donated to Cobalt.
