Hoping someone can help me figure out what I'm doing, as I'm continually closing the keyboard and exiting apps as I type. I have fairly small hands and also haven't had a physical keyboard device since the Z10 launch, when I stopped using my 9900. I'm often hitting the shift key and overswiping up words, but not sure what I'm pressing to make the typing area disappear

You will generally hit the shift key if you use the bottom of your thumb and swipe up.

You will get a better result if you use side of your thumbs to swipe. I found it very easy and less amount of accidental virtual key touches.

I have been using that method for a while and having successes with it.
