    Im using live account to sync my contact to clouds. And not using facebook account for not conflicting with my phonebook. But still duplicate exist. somebody there has the same problem with me?

    I've has the duplicate contact problem on every BlackBerry 10 phone I've owned (Z10, Q10, and Passport). I use live as well. Haven't found a solution yet.

    I had the same problem on my Z10 and Passport. For some reason the Z10 stopped having the issue. I stopped using the Passport and have gone back to the Z full time. I also had a calendar issue with the Passport.

    Intouch, just tried for synching everything up from the q10 to the passport. My duplicates are all gone. Just run a back up first on link because I did notice I lost a couple contacts in the process for some reason but on the whole, it did the trick.

    I stopped using it. It losses my contacts... I think I'll wait for the update which it will take a year I guess. Compared to WP contacts never been a problem and syncing to live mail

    Hi,

    It may be how you have your device set in the Contact Settings and how your Link(s) are within each contact.

    It helped me and I no longer have duplicate contacts and duplicate info within the contact.

    BB did not design this app nicely as it has caused a lot of issues for many users.

    I've had to delete my email and contacts account on my phone, delete all my contacts in the Outlook.com (live) account on the computer, and then recover them. Then set up the email account on the phone. A 15-minute annoyance. I hope this issue is resolved soon - we've been saying it for nearly 2 years!

    I have 4 email accounts and turned off sync on all accounts and my passport now has one set of contacts instead of 2 or more duplicates for each contact.

    You cant imagine how much it pain in @$$ when u deleting 4-5 copy of 615 original contacts by selecting them one by one .

    Backup all in live account (be sure to double check it) then remove all your contacts in BlackBerry Passport. And restore again

    I have deleted and restored my contacts multiple times and they still duplicate on the Passport. No issue on my Classic...

    Use a combination of two apps! Dejavu (on device) and Companionlink (on computer).

    U can duplicate any aspect of the personal information!
