Can anyone please confirm if one can at least receive/make calls in one hand? Like in emergency (not life threatening) when hands are full

It's going to depend a bit on how long your fingers (and especially thumb) are but I certainly don't have problems dialing one handed. It's a bit of a stretch to reach to the 3 but it isn't bad.

Yes, the Passport has 3 rows and the Classic and other keyboard models have 4 row keyboards.

I'd like to be able to add additional 'bidgets' to at the bottom,...next to the hard fixed phone and camera bigets.

Correction! This is actually Tab #1,...and not the home screen!!

Ahhhhh yes...I have mine setup the exact same.... I was thinking you had moved the hardcoded lower left phone icon....That got me all excited if that was possible.
