    Hi,
I have unlocked passport in Czech, Europe, bought from local eshop, as there is no official BB distribution in czech republic.. Few people with passport I know from czech already have update to 10.3.2, also my q10 gets the update, but my passport still says "you have latest version"..
I already try to switch sim card to different carriers (mine is O2, I tried tmobile and vodafone..). I also try to find update trough bb link, factory reset..

    So my questions are:
-is there any way to tell where my passport is comming from? I suppose eshop I bought passport from got it from bb shop? Or is there any other way to buy unlocked passport?
-Is update really carriers dependent? There is no carrier in czech which officialy sell passport. Or it is dependent only if I have locked phone?
-If I use sachessi to update to 10.3.2 will future updates work over OTA?
-do you have any idea why I still havent update to 10.3.2?

    thanks in advance

They could have bought from Shop BB, Amazon or any other place. I'm not sure you could track the soruce at all...

Updates are carrier issues yes, if your carrier does not support the Passport, it may never ring an update. You said your Q10 got a notification, so I suggest putting the SIM card from the Q10 into the Passport and trying to get the update.

No alternate update ways break OTA support.

    Carrier, most likely.

You could always go the autoloader route. Search Crackberry for instructions.

If truly an unlocked device, you could also pull the sim, reboot, connect to wifi and try checking for updates that way. Doing this normally bypasses carrier and goes directly to BlackBerry

I already tried sim removing, also tried sim from my q10.. No luck.. Seems autoloader will be the way, but I always wanted to avoid this.. ..for no particular reason

    thanks guys

Your Passport is probably one of those 'left behind' or 'the forgotten ones'... autoloader is the only way... you could try also the BlackBerry link using your PC or laptop...

This method will wipe the device, but you can try connecting to BlackBerry Link using an USB cable. Click preferences at the top, then reload.

It will check if an update is available and if so, it'll proceed with an update and completely wipe the device. If you want to keep your apps and settings, back up the device first.
