    I have a Passport , running 10.3.2.680
I have an Android Root Kit but I want to be sure I don't do anything that would mess up my device because it runs perfectly.
I have several Android apps that don't need to be rooted and they all work fine.

    So, the QUESTION:
Can an Android app be rooted to a BlackBerry OS with a Root Kit?

Thanks! I expected that! But, could you explain why?
Would it mean having to write a code into the BB10 OS itself then?

I don't think you understand the difference between a root and rootkit
A rootkit is a malicious program/app that hides processes, and allows them to run with elevated privileges
Root access means allowing apps to simply run with root permission, meaning running at highest possible privileges
If an app requires a rootkit, you should install neither, because it's probably a virus
If an app requires root, then you're out of luck because BB does not allow root access on the android runtime

That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
