    Hi, apologies in advance for asking this question. Unfortunately despite extensive searching I can't find the answer to the following. Are sms messages automatically deleted after a specified time on Passports, or can I set a specific deletion timescale?

    They can only be deleted manually.

    Your are not wrong. This occurs to be frequently. Especially if there is a mms in the thread. I have to save the picture or it will randomly delete messages in the thread.

    In fact it happened to me yesterday where I was texting a contact and when I go to respond, the latest message was from May.
