Try to use a pin or a needle.

I haven't taken mine out but I'm quite sure you have to press it in and it will eject out. I don't think you can just pull it out

Press sim card further into slot, it should click and release.

Don't press it, it makes your situation worse. I assumed you have this problem because the nano sim is from micro sim then cut to nano, although the size fit micro sim is thicker than if you get nano sim direct from your telco, so you have to sand it a little bit before insert it to the slot. Maybe try to use needle or pinset, that's the only way

Yep. I used a cut down micro in one of my Passports. It was stuck. I used an E-XACTO Knife[/URL] to carefully work it out. Got a nano SIM and all is well.
Will do... i hate to do this though.... afraid to slip and make dent around it

I used a knife (a swiss army, but I suppose any knife would work), to make a (tiny) hole on the sim card, then move it upward. Just make sure that the base is covered by something (a paper or something when you're doing it). I managed to take it out by this way. I did the same thing with you, and it made me worried.

The spring seems to break easily. I had the same issue and it wasn't a cut down card. I took it to a phone shop where they got it out in moment. This was after I had tried myself which only led to it jamming totally.

Don't listen to Suryo. I had the same problem when I cut my my micro card down. Push it in gently till it clicks and it will pop back out.

Yeah, done it my self, broke the pins. Still waiting for a sim card reader. Never cut your own card! Any one got a scrap PP? or a sim Module?

Actually this is one of the features of the newer Blackberrys. You can put a SIM in but you can't take it out. It is to prevent any temptation or attempt to switch to iPhone or Droid.

But seriously, sorry to hear this is happening to you. Out of curiosity, why would you cut a micro SIM to a nano SIM? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a nano SIM? I haven't had to do this yet, but I could swear the cost is not that much. Maybe it differs in other parts of the world.

I had to do it when I travelled to Indonesia on vacation. They had no nanosimcards. I had to buy a microsimcard, cut it and inserted it. Switched back to my Rogers or Wind nanosimcard when I came back to Canada. No problem.
I switch simcards from Wind to Rogers a couple of times per month.
You also need to do it if you take it out of your z30 or z10 and want to reuse it in your passport.

I got it stucked inside once as well.

I took a needle, stuck it into the sim card and pulled it out. Easy.

Your biggest risk is breaking the pins. Make sure that you pull the SIM out very, very carefully. If you have a lot of resistance, stop and regroup. Don't brute-force it.

Or try a scotch tape. Stick it to the SIM and pull.

    Hello

I have the same problem as you do. Did you manage to find a replacement for the sim reader?

    Thanks
