Hey guys, any word on the shipping date for the new Passport Silver Edition? I know ShopCB Canada stated at the end of their video that it will be shipping in the next few weeks.

I ordered mine a couple of hours ago from SBB Canada and the website says it's in stock. I'm assuming if it's in stock it ships as soon as payment clears. What video did you watch?

I just talked to Digital River. They say that the Passport Silver is in stock and should be shipping within a normal timeframe. The rep wouldn't go into detail, but I take it to mean there will be no delay to a minimal delay due to order volume.

So good news. Hopefully we'll see shipments go out tonight or tomorrow.

Oh and the reason for my concern was the ending of the official ShopCrackBerry video on youtube.

From the time that I ordered, I received tracking info almost exactly 12 hours later and it will arrive this Thursday. Looks like it's out of stock now. Amazon and other retailers should have it in the coming weeks.

Ordered mine on the 5th around 11AM. Got an order confirmation an hour later. Still no shipping email so I decided to call them today. The rep said they are having warehouse issues with this particular product and that I should expect it to ship on Monday August 10th. No idea if he was BS'ing or not but that's what I was told. Kind of a bummer, I was hoping I could get it by tomorrow on Friday.

Heres hoping for a surprise email today.

digital river is probably jammed with orders. I noticed an increasing lag time between orders and shipping notices from the morning to afternoon on day one, and then more lag into day two of orders. I ordered on Aug 4th at about 12 PM West coast time, and received shipping notice 30 hours later for Aug 7th delivery.
