Ever since I got my Passport SE, I've been setting off more anti-theft alarms at stores now by their entrances. Like just right now, I walked into a Shoppers Drug Mart and the alarm went off. When I left, it went off again!

Does anyone else with an SE experience this? Is there way to mitigate this issue?

Are you sure it's the phone? You could have a sensor on a new pair of shoes, or a coat, or hat.

I think I had an ipod touch that would do that.

Have you tried it with the phone turned off?

Make sure it's your passport ; turn off and walk through, then turn it on but put it in airplane mode and walk through. If neither of those trigger the alarm then turn off airplane mode but keep things as minimal as you can, turning off all broadcasting except provider. If it goes off here, you may want to consider replacing your unit, or at least a shielded case. If it doesn't, start turning things on until you find the culprit.

Those alarms can get reactivated and apparently that happens frequently. I hade one in my shoe that suddenly was reactivated.
