Hi everyone,

Just got my red passport from amazing UK. So did a device switch from my black passport.
Now every side loaded app i open doesn't install. It's stuck on the initialising page?
Never had this before so thought I'd get some help?

Any ideas?

Try a hard reset. Hold down Up and Down volume keys for 10-15 seconds until the phone starts to reboot.

tried this.
Nothing Sideloaded works. Even amazon app store. Only apps that work are the ones from the BlackBerry world.

Maybe try a security wipe? It looks like something is wrong with the app installer.....

Not running the leak of the new one.
It's 10.3.0.908
It installs all other blackberry apps though?

Ok just an update. I did the restore to the old passport. Same issue! Won't install sideloaded apps!

Now i have:

Google play store
Snap
One mobile
And a bunch of sideloaded apps.
Higher Google runtime
Google id

Will this affect anything? Shall i try it all again and NOT install these? Or any side loaded apps? (you can check what you want to install, have a list off apps in the restore)

Any suggestions?

I need the data in the sideloaded apps.
So shall i start from fresh and install the main apps looks Google runtime, Google play app etc. Log in get it all working then restore the sideloaded apps?
Or
Install the apps one by one on phone then restore the app data for these apps?

device switching is great but there are a few things you shouldn't do or it might alter the integrity of your os or worse corrupt it. Apps is a major no no. Always re-install all of your apps from scratch. Do a security wipe and start over again. Contacts, calendars, and device info is ok.

Ok so i did a fresh reload.
Now do i use the restore app data to get app and data back...
Or install every single app one by one and then do the restore to get the data?

You're not going to be able to restore app data for the android apps. If you want to keep the app data you're gonna have to find the sachesi thread about using the same android version you had when playing those games and loading that on the machine because it's not going to work any other way

Everything is the same. All android version and software version on phone etc is all the same.

Just switched from black passport to red passport.

You have to install the app directly from amazon. Delete old one and reboot first before installing
