Android? No thanks. Just give me BB10 and CP/M and I'm a happy man.

Funny, I was just thinking about this today. I've always used a case with my AT&T Passport - first BodyGlove and more recently Seidio - but I know a lot of folks in the forum want to go bare.

Personally, I can't imagine not having one. First, the PP is just too nice not to protect it. Regardless of how great fancy phones, look cases are just a common-sense fact of life IMO. Second, it helps with typing, as in a nice little ridge for thumbs to grip below the keyboard. Third - more true of the Seidio than the BodyGlove - a rigid case helps protect against some of the bending issues, I think. (Nonetheless, never sit on it!)

I hope the observations help the OP. Good luck.

Yes, but I will recommend the Seidio BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition Spring-Clip Holster.

I've got one of these for my black Passport:

These are nice quality, premium materials, although the fit is not quite as good as the BlackBerry cases, the protection for edges and corners is much better. As an earlier poster said, using a case does make handling slightly more difficult, especially bottom-row typing.

I've never used a case, especially not the SE. It's very durable and it looks slick. Plus. The phone is a brick already. Adding a case just makes it worse in my opinion.

I use the same case I bought it in Aliexpress, it has a magnet inside, so it locks whenever you slide inside.

I thought it was the proximity sensor that turned off the screen when a case is closed over the screen or if the Passport is slide into a pouch?!

I have had my Passport SE since November and was undecided about a case. I finally bought the BlackBerry book version and couldn't be more happy with it. At first it was a little stiff and wouldn't fold flat backwards with the front cover underneath. That made typing difficult. After a week, it now folds nicely underneath and typing is good. No screen protector. The book style case protects it nicely.

Would you post a picture of that case and info on how I could get one? I have a case but I don't know how to set my BlackBerry wake when I open my case.

I love vertical flip cases and natural leather, so I have chosen that one from Stilgut:

    No issues, no complaints.

Tetded also offers good leather cases.

You can find it on the shop CrackBerry for the Passport. They have two for one deals sometimes. I buy two at a time and have many cause the clip can break often but it is amazing cause I slide my middle finger through the open clip for a secure hold with the Passport reversed in the holster. When face in the holster it is extremely protected. I've dropped it in the holster from my truck window off the steps and on the cement with no damage whatsoever.
If you want a slim and dressy just leave the holster at home. Really sly.

Also you can find it on Amazon.

My first case was an Amzer pudding case. Recently I got the Fosmon clear case, which is also like the Amzer except for the color.. Both serve their purpose for me - covers all the important parts of my Passport without adding too much bulk.. =)

I've been using a purchased cognac vintage leather flip from StilGut on Amazon.
When I got it, it was a thing of beauty, but after about 4 months of use the leather started getting worn which gives it character, but also the plastic encasement broke off the top right of the phone. It still locks in securely, but there is definitely a concern if you accidentally drop it on that corner.
The leather started pealing from the bottom and side... but you can glue it back.
It still feels great in the hand and the leather flip cover has a magnetic pull which puts the Passport into sleep mode preserving the battery life!

I have a white Passport and a black OG. The white one is very slippery and demands a case, while the black one seems to have a grip to it and can go without a case. The white one feels more plastic-y.
