I have about 500 pictures in a folder that I want to transfer to the micro SD card. Is it possible to do a "select all" in BB10?

*no, I dont want to plug my phone to the computer*

I think you can just copy the folder in the file manager and paste it where you want which will transfer them all where you want them.

See if the Move Option is enabled for the folder, if not you'll need a third party file manager

I just tried copying the camera folder and all its contents to the SD card, it worked like a dream.

    This wont solve my problem.
I have a unified folder for all the photos that I hand-picked time over time. Copying a whole folder does not help. What I need is a way to select all items within a folder and move them somewhere else.
Perhaps another file manager will do? Suggestion?

Not possible. Simple things blackberry can't do. You have to use computer to do that. Connect the phone to a PC.

When you select one picture a menu should appear on the right side with a select more option and you just tap on each photo and then move them. Might try to move the whole folder. That option worked for me with my music.

You can use Blackberry Blend for this and can do this wireless on your computer. Blend makes photos selectable just as if they were in Windows. You can hold down the CTRL key and then click the ones you want or hold down SHIFT and select a range of photos.

I use the Android X-plore file manager for "select all".

Personally I save all my photos to the SD card then back up to a computer, I would use the computer to do this job, could be done in about 2 minutes although OP doesn't want to use a computer.

This is one of the only things lacking in the file manager. That and being able to search dropbox.
Best you can do is select the parent folder. You can also do it with PlayCloud - the basic version is free and should be enough in this case, but the full version is well worth your money.

This actually works. Only one annoying thing is that Playcould doesnt have a view mode in "list" type.
