I have noticed a couple issues since updating to 2576. Nothing major but annoying little things like the lock screen taking a couple seconds to turn on after pressing the power button, camera focus not working well, and some messages not showing up for me in bbm groups.

Anyway, is it better to just do a security wipe or reload the OS. If it is better to reload, should I stay with 2576?

    Thanks

Have you tried just a hard reset to clear up any residual crap you may have on your device?

I would do both, Security Wipe then Autoload, and here is my reasoning.

It has been reported that a Security Wipe can leave an OS in an unstable state.

It has been reported an Autoload doesn't always clem up the file system.

    My process is ...

    Turn Off Radios.
Backup SMS/MMS & Contacts using appropriate software.
    Backup using Link.
    Backup using Sachesi.
    Peform Autoload of Desired OS.
Peform Security Wipe using Desired OS.
Peform Autoload of Same OS over the top.

    Restore Data using desired method.

    Good to know. Thanks.

I reloaded the OS last night and it does seem to be working better so far. I will give this a try if the problems return.

As I stated in my original post a security wipe after Autoloading has been reported to cause problems in some cases.

Did you even read my post before posting?
