Which screen recorder app are you using? I can't find one that screen mirror or records. Can this be done using blend?

If you need it that badly just buy it for 2 bucks. :-) That app does what you want and works great on Passport.

When will the tragic misconception that products and services should be free end?

    “free” but include in-app purchase.
Free version has a ten seconds recording time limit.

If you want free and unlimited then I would suggest implementing it yourself. Should not take long - just use their API to capture screen and direct to a file. No rocket science.

What I noticed is that other stores contain apps that utilize advertising more and provide what seems free functionality. BlackBerry apps have way less adds as they are targeted at professionals who can shell a dollar for a tool.

I once tried 'free' angry birds space wars on my iPad and its unbearable to play. After each session there is a long advert video which can't be skipped. I ended up watching advertising more than playing the actual game.
