Yes Blackberry device finds it
Have restarted both PC and phone no joy?
When I connect passport via USB phone confirms connected to PC but Sachesi does not, even if I close and reopen Sachesi?

I also had this issue. I tried every cable I had, they all worked for hard drives, for charging and for transferring files to and from the phone. I bought a new cable and it worked perfectly. All other cables still do not work for Sachesi, the new cable works fine.

have the exact same problem. Sachesi works just fine for my Z10, but I've done all of the above and all recognize my Passport, except Sachesi.

I have problems most of the time getting my devices to connect to Sachesi. I usually disconnect everything from my laptop (printers, etc), close all running programs except for Sachesi, and disconnect and reconnect my device and open and close Sachesi until it finally connects. This works for me. Good luck !
