Question... when you installed an app from Amazon Appstore, does it stay in the phone permanently? Because I installed this app, and I "uninstalled" it via "hold the app and click the trash can."

But when you open the app store, it's still showing installed cause the button says "open."

Where in the phone can I actually remove the app totally?

Ok... so in the appstore holding the app will trigger "do you want to uninstall this app" alert... but looks like the appstore just crashes...

    That can't be normal...

Nope, tried going through the Amazon app itself, same thing...

    Any suggestions?

It is a well known issue with the latest OS... it is also a well known fact that user has to do a walk around solution to fix it...

The only well unknown is when BlackBerry will fix it...

I think it's outrageous that BlackBerry were aware of this issue before they released this update but just released it anyway. I hope they fix it soon and don't count it as two updates we've had this year. Lol

Haven't suffered from it myself because I haven't uninstalled any android apps.

Well, one of the most proven faster security-wipe process is by uninstalling first all your installed apps / games... and that includes Android apps / games...

At that moment, you are going to realise how silly BB10 was made to complicate the process of uninstalling apps and games... including the security wiping process...

Nope, my issue is fixed with the temp workaround! I'm declaring my love for crackberry! Lol even though I've been using BlackBerry since the 8130.

I stupid decided to sideload the bar files via ddpb and that literally crashed loading the android and temp freezing the phone...

So I finished sasheci ( was missing some dll files) and did it correctly, sideloaded, rebooted and voila! I can remove android app.

It's unfortunate the problems appeared but good ol' crackberry people have ways to help!
