    Whether the frets or the edges... in your experience are the black painted surfaces more vulnerable to regular wear compared to the original stainless steel?

    No chipping on mine. Maybe if it was dropped, it might chip but no issues so far!

    Not a chip or scratch on mine. But I haven't dropped mine from a significant distance onto a hard surface.
