    Hi,
What format can you take photos and videos on the passport, 16:9, 4:3 or just 1:1?

I am wondering as currently I take most photos and videos on my z10 in landscape so they look better on my computer as they fit the screen but if the passport can only do 1:1 it might put me off. Thanks.

Video uses the same ratios as the camera

For pictures all of the above.
For video 16:9 as far as I can see. You can choose 720p,1080p, 720p 60fps and 1080p 60fps

That's great, thanks. Although it is the answer i wanted I guess I will need to decide if I am taking a picture for my pc or to be displayed on the phone but not really a big deal as I generally do this anyway when taking photos with the z10.

Choose neither, 4:3 yields a higher resolution picture.

That may be true but then the photos wouldn't fit on the phone or laptop correctly.

If you care about that, why not both?
Take a picture in full resolution (4:3) and then use the native editing app to crop it to 16:9 and then to 1:1.

It's the exact same as taking 3 pictures on different aspect ratios, but only taking one. There's no difference, because 16:9 and 1:1 capture modes are just crops.

Yes. 4:3 much nicer. Also uses the screen well slowing the camera button not to obscure the photo area.

I thought 1:1 would be the highest ratio. Aren't all cameras 1:1 then they crop it to the screen size of the phone automatically?

    That's a very interesting point, I didn't really consider that 16:9 is a crop.

A bit off topic but is there any way to keep the camera on burst as it seems to keep defaulting back to normal mode and I prefer to always use burst, which was how it worked on my z10? Thanks

No, all camera sensors are 4:3. To test this switch through the different modes without moving the phone. You'll notice that both 1:1 and 16:9 are cropped from the 4:3 image.
