So there is a very scary rattling sound everytime i move my phone. seems to be coming from the camera... i remember reading somewhere that the camera focus lens can be causing this

is this still the case with the passport... do you all have it?

Nope, the up volume key is the only one that makes a bit of sound only when I touch it. It's solid otherwise.

Have you removed the top cover and checked ?

I'm actually pretty sure it's the mute button. Both volumes are a bit loose but the mute one is really loose

What's with all the loose buttons on the device s lately? My z30 has a really bad loose problem with the volume keys. I had to tape them under back cover. Pretty disappointed because I paid over $500 for the phone originally.

The Z30 rattling volume buttons is definitely a well known issue. This is the first I've heard of it on the passport. It seems like the passport has quite a few manufacturing defects.

Pretty disappointing really. In a time when BlackBerry has to hit home runs with everything, and putting such importance into the passport and to have the flaws and issues that it has, is a bit of a letdown.

I'm always notice these things but it will only bother me if there is a problem. I don't mind loose buttons, im never gonna use the mute button lol. I just want to know if it's something serious, like if it means they will fall out. I'm getting a case in the next few days so it shouldn't be a problem
