I just recently downloaded "Pocketsafe" today and I just noticed the red poximity light flashing. I've never noticed this before and I've had my PP for over six months. When I use my phone on a call I learned only to put the ear piece to my ear and not have the screen touch my face. Something I learned from past touch screen phones. I see this faint red light flashing at me while I write this post. So has my proximity sensor not been working this whole time?

Usually only comes on during a phone call or when it's face down on a table. That is if you have flip to mute or lift to wake active.

Yes but now it's working harder thanks to PocketSafe.

I'm betting PocketSafe keeps it on constantly. I can't imagine that's good for your battery life. If you notice a drain, this is the most probable culprit.
