I have my contacts saved in this format "555-555-5555" but when I get a text message the contacts name doesn't show and the number shows up as "+1555-555-5555". So I added the "+1" to the contacts number which fixed it but now when I get a call the name doesn't show. It seems like the only solution is to have both formats saved so the name comes up for both calls and texts. Can anyone help so I don't have to do this to all my contacts?

That's weird because I use the +1 format and the name shows up in my text and incoming calls. Perhaps try leaving the dash out +15555555555
