Now we all know that the Windermere, now Passport, is finally coming, just wanted to know, how much in your country you are ready to pay for the highly specd device. Just put your price.
From India ,I guess Rs 35,000 will be decent enough price compared to competition. How much will you pay for your Country passport?

Edited: $599 it is, declared today

I expect really, really expensive! Almost like a BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982. So I would say €999,99 without a contract.
But that's just a very wild guess.

Since it's launching in Europe first, I'll say 400 euro dollars.

I find it unlikely that it'll be the same price as the Classic. Maybe $50 to $100 more? $700 to match the Galaxy S5, or $750. This would make the Classic $650 or $700.

On a two year term I expect the Passport to go for $250, the Classic for $200

Porsche Designs go for over a thousand dollars US. There's no way it'll be that expensive, no one would buy it. It'd also make the PD phones less "exclusive"

Bought Q10 for $650 in Czech republic so I would say that the new devices will be priced higher, $700 - $1000.

My guess, off contract, be about $599-$699. It really has to be firing on a lot of cylinders for this to be a good value for most folks. iPhone and Android users will be deterred by any price over $400 so no sense thinking this is going to woo them away. I'm hoping it delivers on what I think it can, but it's just a matter of seeing it up close on whether that's true or not.

On that note, my first upgrade from my current z10 will be the Classic. That's going to happen as soon as the first series of hands-on reviews come in. I've held off getting the q10 because of the anticipation of the classic. The Passport is a wait and see decision. But I have no hesitation on getting this if the design and features come thru as BlackBerry hopes it does.

I think the Passport will be slightly more than the most, but reasonably. Chen mentioned that there will be plenty of accessories to accompany it and that will be their bread and butter.

There will probably be a dock and most certainly a flip she'll case. I also wouldn't be surprised to see something like a high end miracast projector for enterprise customers.

I'd say $699 USD...and I'll also venture to say that for those of us here in the US, it will probably only be available to enterprise; whereas the Classic will be available to consumers. Just a guess. :/

Thanks to all for your views, in India, launch price of BlackBerry phones and current price are as follows -

    Pre John Chen era:

BlackBerry Z10 launched at 42,000 INR, now available at 17,000 INR, and in ebay its available at 13,000 INR. Huge price decrease, now at lower price it sold off like hot cakes, all those customers who knew its a good phone they immediately bought it, others thought z10 was a flop so price was decreased for stock clearance and that was the time when all rumours of BlackBerry being sold to Google, LG, lenovo etc etc were hot.

BlackBerry Q10 was launched at 44,000 INR, now available at 26,000 INR, again this model also got very less popularity, only reason is the high high price range, in India at 44,000 you get all of those really good phones, I am not considering iphone anywhere. No offence to iphone but it doesn't make sense to me.

BlackBerry z30 was launched at 39,000 INR, now available at 34,000 INR, no customers interested this time thinking it will come down like Z10.

BlackBerry q5 launched at 24,000 INR, now available at 18,000 INR, no customers again and you know why, because same time z10 is now available at 13,000-15000 INR. And those who really want qwerty, non bb10 os phones solves the purpose, I am talking about enterprise s.

    John Chen era:

Z3, getting launched next week and the expectations are huge, price expected is 12,000-14,000 INR comparing Indonesia launch , if it becomes true it will be the first BlackBerry 10 successful here. Credit goes to the hero Chen.

For the similar reason I really hope the BlackBerry Passport gets launched here within affordable price range and people will definitely buy it, Passport has the potential, really hope John Chen will continue his current pricing strategy , and BlackBerry 10 deserves the success long awaited.

I know it will be expensive about $700 perhaps $499 US dollars if optimistic. But I hope now that the storm is almost over, that BlackBerry can focus on building new relationships and work towards rebuilding old ones with carriers so that the end customer can participate in those monthly payment programs. Subsequently it will make BlackBerry shine once more.

If blackberry has half a brain the Passport will not be higher than $550 and the Classic around the $400 mark. Any more than that and they won't sell, again. The major issue with the first gen of Blackberry 10 phones was that they tried to have Apple's pricing for Blackberry phones. No way anyone except a handful will pay that.

I reckon the same price range as other high end phone form different manufacturers like Samsung HTC etc, except Apple, they can do what they like and get away with it......BBRY really can't afford to keep overpricing their devices at this point......

Every flagship BlackBerry that's ever launched in the UK, stretching all the way back to the Bold 9000, has always been around the 500-600 mark and I don't expect that figure to drop just because BlackBerry's in dire straights in the US market...

What they need is killer advertising and a couple of great USP's (Unique Selling Points) to help justify the cost
