Some pics I download are not visible as a peview on my PassportSQW100-1. Is this an sd card problem?

Are the previews viewable in the Pictures app? I don't think they're viewable in File Manager.

Of course they are. I use my Passport as my Linux laptop every day for work, to write, edit, and correct papers.
The file manager is my most important app. You can preview jpg, png, bmp, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, odp files, txt files, everything. It's the best file manager across all of my devices: Linux and Mac laptops included.
None of the latter integrate as nicely with the email tool.

Well thought so, but what to do with the card, so preview is constantly visible?

I put all my files on the SD card. I have a sandisk 128GByte card. Bought from amazon a year ago. Worked flawlessly from day one and my device and card are encrypted. No problem. Did not have to format the sdcard.
Maybe your SD card is bad.

I'm with SORINV.

I have a 128 GB SanDisk in my Z30 (OS 10.3.2.2639) and the previews in File Manager work just fine.

So if it's not your memory card that's bad and you have the latest OS, then maybe it's what you have downloaded. Is the picture a screenshot? Is the picture in the jpg format? Does the picture open in File Manager?

Well thanks for all inputs, magically the problem got solved, perhaps with the last reboot I did... hm, can see all clear and fine in both views
