It's not just this, or blanking of the active tile, it's also the weather wallpaper, the odd double-ringtones, the missed led and ringtones, etc.
It's trying.

I will assume you did a soft reset. Could it be a bad Install ? Have you ensured the ringtone,vibration and LED are set to off for the event you are handling through PowerTools (for all appropriate sound profiles)?

I realize these are basic questions, just trying to ensure we cover the basics.

That type of result or completely blank are the norm for both my passport and classic. I run powertools on both and have the same problems on both. Same is true of weather wallpaper, etc.

The *occasional* misses on ringtones and LED's mostly occurs on the classic.

I get that - a lot of the time. Let it run for any real length of time as in hours or days, and I get the blank one or some crazy answer like the one above.

Both of my installs do it. I've tried deleting and reinstalling. I will say that Classic seems better with last OTA software push.
