I have ordered a soft case for The Nintendo DSi XL (which is a little taller and much thicker than Passport).

I am looking for a case for Kobo Mini (which is a little wider than Passport).

I have just purchased a soft case for LG Optimus Vu P895 (the first model). Passport is as wide as Optimus Vu, while the former is shorter than the latter.

BlackBerry Passport - 128 mm x 90.3 mm x 9.3 mm
LG Optimus Vu - 139.6 mm x 90.4 mm x 8.5 mm

(The label stitched onto the lid bears a tag line written in a little funny English.)

Unfortunately it is NOT available on Amazon.com . . . it is available on Amazon.co.jp (Japanese site).

I would try to find if the manufacturer is kind enough to put this case on eBay (US site).

Yes, I did receive it. The photo above shows my Passport in this cheap sleeve, which is not as good as genuine BlackBerry cases (for Z10 for instance).

Funny how no one criticized the Vu for being "too big", but that is the common "con" of the Passport. I guess everyone holds BlackBerry to a different standard.

What on earth is BlackBerry playing at.

Still no OEM Pouches or Holsters, it's not as though no one knew what the dimensions of the device were going to be and were unable to get them designed and manufactured for sale at the same time as the phone was released.

You pay �500.00 for a phone and have to handle it with extreme care so as not to scuff or scratch it because someone forgot to push the button to get the cases made .....

Great phone, typical BlackBerry SNAFU with the accessories, hoped that those days were in the past.

My Passport will sit at home until there is a holster. It's too big for my pocket (I've never pocketed a phone, usually have other stuff including keys in my pocket) and I am not going to carry it around exposed to potential damage.

If there is no holster soon, I'll have to think about what I'm going to do with the phone. It's very disappointing because I would like to start using it, but until I am comfortable it is protected I won't.

I know someone mentioned in a thread somewhere about screen in and pressure in a holster. I always carry screen out (then I can see the LED easily). I'm surprised that Chen flubbed this so badly after actually getting the phone to market on time.

There were several protective accessories provided at launch. May not have been to your liking.

Come on dude, SEVERAL ???

Hard Shell Case and Screen Protectors, hardly an extensive range, surely a range of Pouches/Cases is not an unreasonable expectation to protect you brand new and expensive phone.

If I remember rightly, the Bold 9900 even came with a Leather Pouch included in the box.
