Bought mine from Amazon all the way to Philippines so far no hardware issues nor lcd screen lift issue. I've had also installed 10.3.1.1154 on day 1!

Got mine one week after launch, and the hardware is perfect! Love the stainless steel, and the overall fit and finish. Had some small software hiccups near the beginning (keyboard not lighting up a couple of times), but it sorted itself out, and has been--no exaggeration-- a work-life changing device. I love my Z30, but I don't think I could go back!
