Hey! With the mega battery in Passport we can donate some battery power to some of the poor guy using an iPhone. If you are with someone using an iPhone or any other phone and the battery drains out Please help him or her. Take out your OTG cable. And ask the other person to take out his USB cord. Connect the OTG to passport and the USB stick at the other end. The other person will be surprised and grateful. And while the person is at it Please explain how the passport is better.
1) Better battery.
2) Better storage inside the phone with more that 100GB incl the media card.
3) A pen drive can be connected for uploads or downloads.
4) Bluetooth can be connected to any system.
5) BlackBerry Blend can be used to push in any file in the media card to be referred later on the go.
6) Broad screen to see Excel sheets and Maps.
7) Can donate some battery power to other mobiles.
8) ...... the list goes on...

I have done that once and got asked what battery pack I just connected. Since I didn't want him to connect to my laptop, as I was sitting on the other side of the aisle in the train.
I told the guy that it's my BlackBerry Passport.

Since it was using my laptop on the train I cheekily mentioned that I can still do everything with my BT headset and Blend.

I didn't have OTG when I was on Z10. Not that I'm using a Passport, I don't understand what it is and what it can be used for.

Can someone please enlighten me?

OTG or On The Go is an adapter that plugs into the mini USB port on your phone.
It then can be used as a standard USB port, like charging, thumb drives, or plugging in keyboards.
I got mine from EBay, it cost me like a small bag of dirt (under five dollars) .

OTG cable has a micro USB at one and and a USB at the other end. Can be used ti connect a pen drive to upload or download a file. Many other uses also.
