    Hi CB,

MY Passport gets quite hot when I switch on the mobile 3G. Is it normal? I am on 10.3.0.908.

I don't think it's data... I think it's signal strength. If you are on a weak signa area (or on a blind spot) the phone works constantly to find a better signal (stonger) to use, which in turn generates heat.

    Check that out.

My Q10 gets noticeably warm at times when I'm web surfing. I have 5 bars of 4G signal strength and the tower is close by, so it's not signal strength in my case. Since Blackberry introduced new larger batteries and made the phone cases slimmer, could this be part of the problem?
