There are times this happens and then it's good again. If I'm bluetooth to my vehicle it works.

Are these calls you are making to others or calls being made to you?

Are you using a sip client or the cellular voice network?

    Help us help you!

Are you on Bell by any chance? My hubby is and with the Z10 or Samsung 3 and now a Windows phone, he has this problem as well. He's had numerous sim cards replaced and the mother board replaced in the S3. He is almost done with his Bell contract and he won't ever go back.

Yes bell. Incoming calls only. They flash on the screen and right to VM. Really wierd. Not all the time either. I'll try to figure out when and what I may be doing when this happens

Ok so you say their is flash of the screen that coincides with the call or with the VM.

What I mean is the VM notification would come after the user records their message.
A call being deferred to VM by a policy or your phone would notify when the call came in.

Do you observations fit one of the above scenarios or something else?

What I am trying to discover is if the call is going to VM because of a policy on the phone or on the network.

Do you have power tools installed? If so turn off the wave feature and see if that helps. Make sure you reboot after.

Yes I have power tools installed. I'll do the wave shut off. And the flash is the incoming call. I only get a VM message if they leave a message. Otherwise, I get a missed call alert

My hubby is on Bell, he said his calls dropped all the time when he was at work. He had the motherboard replaced twice on his SG3, switched to my old Z10, still happened, they finally figured out that it happened mostly where he was working (very frustrating) and that Bell does have some dead spots around the city. So that's the story for us on Bell. Oddly I don't have the same problem with Virgin Mobile Canada....

Problem solved. Turned off wave feature calls come in. Turn on wave and when I pick up the phone my huge paws activate the swipe feature. I don't really need the wave too ignore so it is off. Thanks for the help everyone
