First let me start by saying I do love my Passport. I do however not like, the phone app. Proximity sensor seems to be either too sensitive or defective, the phone ends calls randomly, particularly and almost 100% of the time, when I get the voicemail of an unanswered call. As soon as the tone comes on, phone hangs up. Often screen will come on while placing call, resulting in a call being muted of keys being dialed, which the person on the other end hears. My wifes passport is also causing similar grief. Unfortunately I just got her to switch to BlackBerry from iphone. The Passport does many things exceptionally well, but in the end, if a phone can't make a phone call, what good is it? Hopeful that next update fixes these issues or it's off to the Note 4 for me, which will hurt. A lot.

Yes you are right, I too have faced these problems hope they fix it as soon as possible.

My wife and I have none of those issues. I think these things tend to come in batches.

Do a hard reboot of your phone and see if that solves your issues. Otherwise wipe the device and don't restore any backups and again see if your issues go away. Then restore your data but do not restore settings as that tends to cause issues especially if coming from a previous bb10 device.
