Ran the device through an unintended performance test while using it, with the following fired up:

    1. Browser with 8-10 tabs open simultaneously with constant switching between tabs.

    2. Skype chat open in the active frame.

    3. App downloads in the BlackBerry World in the active frame

    4. BlackBerry Travel scanning mails for trips; adding new trip, searching for flights etc.

    5. Ticket Booking on MakeMyTrip Android app.

    6. Browsing Crackberry in between (active frame).

    7. Constant BBM chat - switched with Skype chat.

    8. Vocabuilder in the active frames

    9. Wallpaper HD, Clipmanager, FlipShush, Instant along with all the usual social media apps running in the background.

    10. Around 10 emails received over the period.

Usage consistent over a period of 3 hours.

    Result:

The device went about doing its job like nothing had changed, without one lag/freeze/unresponsive incident. I did max out on the memory with Wallpaper changer closing down and throwing a notification stating only 6% of the memory is available, but even with that it was a smooth operation.

(Why is this even a thread?
Although I am constantly using the device throughout the day, I had never -- at any one period of time -- used the device to the extreme, and I remembered some people complaining in some threads about how the device slows down when the usage is maxed up. Now, their problems could have been genuine - I wouldn't know, but when I did max out its resources today, the result - although turning out to be what was expected - seemed worth sharing.)

Awesome, thanks for the test. It's good to know the PP performs well

it should not slow down the device would be pretty sad otherwise... if the Z10 can do most of this with a dual core 1.5ghz processor and the PP has a 801 quad core 2.2/2.3 ghz snapdragon there is nothing the os should be able to do to strain it.
