What can I do to conserve battery life when my passport silver edition is in sleep mode? I can leave it ins sleep mode for a few hours and the battery life will decrease.

Turn off Stories in your Pic app settings, try a hard reset, could be an app you have loaded, reload your OS , for a few tips

Just in case it's a recent common problem - they have been known to happen - as of the last 24 -48hr my passport is losing charge at a very fast rate. Unplugged at about 10:00am and down to 40% by lunchtime, with only 5 mins use. No new apps added in the last two months... except the new BBM update. Yes, I have restarted.

Don't wish to besmirch the the good BB reputation. This happen to anyone else recently?... if not, I'm probably in a world of hurt. I cannot be without my BB :-(

    Cheers

Some apps left on or in the background can hurt the battery life. I say uninstall, but the basic apps and see which ones as you download them again affect your battery life.

I would suggest that "android player" can also increase the CPU usage of "system". I think killing Android apps is the low hanging fruit here.

Just a friendly piece of advice: the Battery Tab from the Device Monitor is useless if you want to know what is currently draining your device.

A screenshot of the CPU and Memory Tabs will show what you've got running in the background, and that might help us offer a solution.

    BlackBerry 10, CB10 signed.

Battery saving mode solved this problem. I might keep it on battery saving mode when im outside. My passport lasted me me an entire Bernie Sanders rally and I still had life to spare on my way home. Couldnt get any decent shots of Bernie, though, due to the cameras poor performance in dimly lit areas. Is this problem even solvable? As for now ill be on amazon shopping for a digital camera.

Im running os 10.3.2.2836. While going to bed at night my phone charge shows say 70%. In the morning after 7-8hrs sleep it goes down to 30%. I keep the wifi on though. But all auto updates are off.
