What does it matter if it comes after the Iphone 6?believe me the millions who buy that phone do not even know that Blackberry exists and even if they knew they still would not buy their phones. The 6 will sell in a weekend what BB sell in 5 years give or take.

Would explain why I (we?) still have not heard anything about the supposed September launch event. If they plan to promote that event even a little, it seems unlikely that it will happen in the first half of September. So "October in stores" sounds plausible to me.

It's going to be unveiled in September but it'll officially go on sale in October . I was told the same at the BlackBerry Store here in Dubai.
