I know I'm dating myself here but I remember the first blackberry device that launched in the US many many years ago. And it was a huge success. Cingular Wireless was the first to carry it. From there every paging network and cellular start-ups carried the RIM950. When mobile service became popular here, Rim launched its first cellular phone and in the US it was on Cingular/ AT&T network. Fast forward.. The Passport. Everyone in the BlackBerry community know it's a game changer. And I think it was a smart move for ATT to be exclusive carry...for a while I hope. I'm assuming it may help build more demand for it...

I want BlackBerry to succeed by any means necessary. If that means I have to go behind my wife's back and start a new contract with another carrier. Even if it means I have to watch for the postman once a month to intercept the bill. Oh well. Cause I'm getting me a Passport. Flat out!!!!

And ain't nobody gonna stop me either!

My goal is to buy it outright when it's available and use it one their pickup and go service. If I can't do that i'll start a new contract.
