Q10 is already a heavy phone to use with one hand but makes up for it with it small form factor.

Does the passport weigh more? I am worried that if it does than this giant phone will absolutely be miserable to use with one hand.

It weighs about the same as a Z30. It is a bigger phone with a bigger battery...

More weight (about 200 g Vs 140 I think) but larger phone.
I don't know exactly (didn't have a chance to hold one) but even if heavier, it could be easier and more comfortable in hands if the weight distribution is better...

    194g in the Passport

    139g in a Q10

Passport feels more comfortable in the hands though, and more premium.

For comparison, a Note 4 weighs around 176g, an iPhone 6+ is 172g

I'm super stoked @ the Passport weigh-in! 194g for a phone that size is proper. I don't get the whole "add lightness" thing when it comes to phones- it's not a supercar. Samsung is one of the bigger culprits these days, their phones feel like a McDonald's treat of the week. I'm sure that the Passport is going to feel every bit as sturdy as I expect it to, and I can't wait!!! Also, if 194g is too heavy to hold- do you even lift bro?

Couldn't agree more. I love the way my Q feels in my hand. It's solid, not heavy...I don't want my BlackBerry to feel like a cheap piece of plastic.

To be fair the Q10 could be a tad lighter. The S5 is lighter than it.

The Q10 is one of the most ergonomic phones I have ever held. The material on back is also very grippy and of high quality.

The Passport seems very nice and has the same rubber back material as the PlayBook. My issue with it is that it is more of a two handed device. My preference is more towards one handed smartphones.
