Honestly I don't keep up with the differences like some on here. Some will love, some will hate, and so it goes...

I've never cracked a BlackBerry screen (Z10 or Q10) and ive dropped em plenty. If its not broken don't fix it! Literally.

The only thing I hope they ditch is the single pain tech they are currently using so we can at least finish our day with a cracked screen!

I know that it's marketing.. But I've seen phone with corning gorilla glass (most of them Lumia), and all of them are used without any screen protector, and they have no scratch on the screen! While I don't feel confident enough to use my Z30 without one, as I have read that many screens are scratched. So.. maybe it's a good thing.

This is just about removing a "but it doesn't have _____" talking point.

And Corning is probably having a fire sale now that the iPhone is moving away from it.

I dunno hey, if it's not broke don't fix it?
I drop my Z30 more then I care to admit, and no issues.
My bf smashed his Z10 against a shopping cart by mistake, we thought the screen had cracked but it was actually only the screen protector, screen was perfect.
I actually find that iPhone users are cracking/breaking/damaging their screens all the time, LITERALLY everyone I know with an iPhone has broken their screen at least once.
And over here all contract users with Samsung full touch devices get 2 free screen repairs.... says something

With a Passport you don't need the touchscreen necessarily anymore, u will have an awesome trackpad!

I don't think gestures like peak work using the keyboard.

They dominate the market so much beyond Mobile devices that Corning couldn't care less.
