We all know Universal Search is one of the best feature that makes BlackBerry devices with physical keyboard, powerful search machines. This feature is currently doesn't work very well on the Passport running 10.3.0 due to a annoying problem where your search strings get prepended with random one or more characters. I would like to know if 10.3.1 works better.

It happens sometimes when you are on home screen and press any key and one character comes already preappended to string e.g if I type cb then sometimes it comes out acb and all the time its 'a' which is pre appended though not always but just sometimes this is case with me.

It's fixed in 10.3.1. Very sweet.

Noticed it very slow 10.3.0 with the introduction of the BlackBerry Assistant, point where I stopped using it.
I've noticed a huge improvement in 10.3.1 back to how fast it was with 10.2, use it all the time now :-)
