Just turn off the swipe on in the display settings

    Blackberry Passport 10.3.2.2339
This. Turn off swipe to wake and only the power button and the U key can be used to bring up the lock screen.

I don't know if you guys had the same problem but when I put the phone in my pocket for a while and then the phone turns on by itself...perhaps it touched the assistant button on the right.

Also some apps were opened even the flight mode was on..I was wondering why I didn't receive any messages...

Can anyone sort out this problem for me please.....

Just saw this on the front page, it's an app that may take care of your issue if you find no other recourse.

To prevent getting the pop up every time every time your hand passes close to the sensor you can use battery saving mode. Swipe down from top of screen and you will see the Settings button. Turn on battery saving mode. With this option turned on the app will only function if it detects a close object within 10 seconds after the screen turns on. That will solve your problem. However, with battery saving on, your screen must be turned off before putting the phone in your pocket. Otherwise you will not be protected from pocket dialing until your screen turns off automatically, which may never happen if it begins pocket dialing right after it goes in your pocket.

This used to happen to me, especially in the winter. So I turned off swipe to wake.

PERFECT SOLUTION - Turn off "Slide to wake" - Thank you! This forum just answered my question on this issue. Now it won't turn on in my pocket.

There is a correlation of heat and humidity while in the pocket. I can put the phone in the pocket and if I am inside and not too hot no issues. As soon as I go outside and do any movement the pant material is not thick enough to prevent my leg from activating the slide to unlock.

This is my experience. I have to put the phone screen out when I have those circumstances.

Turning off a major feature can't be the perfect solution.

I've had my PP since day 1. No case or app to protect pocket dialing. I used to get lots of dials, however I found that if you put the screen away from your body, then the pocket dialing stops. Been doing that for 10+ months - no pocket dials, no scratches/broken screen etc. The PP is tough, just turn it around
