So I've had this issue with my passport since day 1 I'd say. Every once in a while when I'm texting I'll get the clock icon and it won't show message sent unless I toggle my mobile network on /off.
What's even more strange is that my recipient does receive the message even when it's still showing the clock icon, and eventually it send the message again (as it usually does if it thinks the message failed to send)

    I'm on rogers in Canada.
Anyone else experience this? My z30 never had this problem

My wife had a similar problem with MMS. I finally fixed it by going to:
    Settings
    Networks and Connections
    Mobile Network
    APN
    Restore Defaults

I hope it works for you. We were pretty frustrated with my wife's Passport and we (Blackberry tech support and me) stumbled on this fix quite by accident. The tech was getting close to sending me a replacement.

Good luck and let us know. My fingers are crossed for you.

    Sadly it's still occurring
It's very intermittent.. no real pattern

Are you still within your 30 support Window? I would call BlackBerry tech support regardless to seek assistance.

    Continued good luck.

It's basically a network or device issue.

I'm with Rogers as well and no probs here!

Get talking to Rogers BlackBerry tech support to make sure settings are correct on your end and Rogers end!

Ps) off topic tho I've seen these rare issues with network features like mms and Sms with port ins from other carriers. I use to work for RW!

I'm the same way. If I send a two separate text messages one right after the other, very quickly, I'll get the red clock.

    Infuriating, really.

I have the same problem. I'll try the suggestion and see if that helps. I'm way past the 30 BlackBerry support window so maybe this will have to be logged with Rogers.

Okay so here is what I noticed. The sms issue is while I have a low LTE signal.

If I change over to 4G, I never experience the delayed sms issue.

I'm going to call Rogers and let them know. Let's see what they say.
