I wanted to watch something on you tube in bed and wanted to rotate the screen
The video didn't rotate
(my holster is set up to be able to hold it at a good angle for viewing however video needs to display horizontal)

Go to system settings - quick settings and uncheck rotation lock tab if it has a tick in the box.

I haven't used that but I assume it turns the camera flash full on so that it acts like a torch?

It turns the Camera light on and off, it's handy

what's the use for rotation?

Sometimes it's easier to hold when the phone rotated and the screen should rotate to stay vertical.

When laying in bed and watching something (not that I can watch anything as none of the watching apps work besides for you tube, pretty disapointed)
I put it into my holster likke thhis I don't have to hold it)
I'm still using the q10 hence the double letter typing
