Hey guys,

Just like most of the people, I'm patiently waiting for the release of the passport phone. BUTTTTT I have a major concern which might not mean much to the average user.

Now as you all in know, with the various carriers in canada launching there own specific devices to run on there networks. Ex: Q10 comes in sq-1 for bell, sq-2 for rogers lte network and wind mobile is sq-5 (something like that but you get tthe poinnt)

I really want to get a pentaband phone, as I switch to different carriers here and there and want a phone that will work on all bands like the galaxy note 2 model..

Will I be able to buy this version from blackberry online or any retailers or is It even sold in pentaband versions? If not, why??? I just don't gett it why us guys have to be limited, I don't keep contracts with carriers for the same reason..

That's the GSM Passport, evidently. Has all the bands of the SQN100-5, and them some.

Big Three probably, maybe the smaller ones.

Should be clearer after the BlackBerry event on the 24th.
