I've been playing with my Passport almost nonstop since it was delivered yesterday. Each time I use it, it becomes more and more intuitive/comfortable. Loving the form factor -- no switching for me

Interesting that you'd ask. I was actually completely uninterested in the Passport initially, waiting to upgrade my Q10 to the Classic. However, as the specs of the Classic was starting to leak, I realised that the Classic wasn't a worthy upgrade from the Q10 at all. That's when I started reading about -and considering the Passport. It took a long while for me to make up my mind and order the Passport. I have no regrets about that decision whatsoever now. The Passport is, in fact, the best smartphone I've ever owned, and I've owned many - from all kinds of brands and OSs for the past 12-13 years. Yes, I am one of those phone-geeks. Actually, I've been a phone-geek since the mid nineties, hehe. I even used to write for a tech magazine about smartphones. Suffice it to say, I haven't been this excited about a new smartphone for years! The Passport is truly unique and innovative, and I'd never downgrade to a Classic. Still have the Q10 as a backup, though.

I originally wanted the Classic, but after the Passport, there's no giving up the keyboard layout and functions. I also love the screen and battery life. The Passport is for me, BlackBerry just had to show me the way to the future!

Very happy with my Passport. No chance of me switching. I can see where the Classic may be the better fit for some though. Just not me.

    Nope.

Coming from a Q10 and Z30, the Passport is best for me.

Don't miss the Q10 at all. Used to think the size was great because of the pocketability, but no longer an issue.

Miss the Z30 keyboard (the ease and display of second language was better)

Having a bit of nostalgia with the toolbelt, but I have gotten used to the PP trackpad and cursor placement /maneuverability.

The PP has way more pros that it is the best for me.

I am going to check it out but can't imagine going back to a narrow screen. The downgrade in specs is not desirable but am sure BB10 will be fluid even on the Classic. Working wide is truly an awesome experience I doubt I will be able to give up. I was a convert to virtual keyboards and am also amazed how much I love the kb on the PP. The one one the Classic looks even more appealing in some ways but screen likely will be too narrow. I likely would hold out for the PP2 that Chen has already eluded to.

I was considering an upgrade to the Classic to replace my Q10 but now that I'm used to the Passport screen and keyboard I wouldn't switch to the smaller classic at all.

I've ordered a classic. Going to give it a try for a couple days and see. I may just keep both and use the classic when I'm out and about and need something more pocket friendly.

Just curious, what circlejerk do you belong to if not productivity?

A lot of people are talking about specs. vs a Q10, classic, etc. In real world terms, could someone give an example of how these specs show up with operating the phone? Is it that apps load faster? Web pages? Becasue from demos it doesn't look to me like anything moves quicker in terms of how long it takes for the "screen dance" to take place when you swipe back an app, or when you tap an email to open, etc.

In real world terms, what would happen differently if you ran the same set of operations side by side with a PP and say, a Q10 or Classic?
