Does anyone use or know what is the best app to use for cleaning the cache and freeing up ram? I know clean sweep for android is really good, but will it work good on BlackBerry devices?

You should really only need to do a reset once in a while would be all you really need.

Try ghost commander. It's in BlackBerry world.
I use it once in a while to clear cache, stop android app notifications and to prevent some android apps from constantly running in background.
Works great.
