    Been working on my new Passport all day...and for some reason (ie I didnt' enable this???) when I now swipe up after it shuts itself down, I need to enter my device password to get it to work...

    What'd I do? And how can I 'un-enable' this???

    Umm...that's what passwords do. You can set in the settings how long until it asks for the password (after it's in standby) but I don't quite see what you're asking. If you didn't enable a password, how did you unlock your phone?

    I also see you have an iphone. well then, you should know how passwords on phones work

    were you sideloading and put it in developer mode? Even when you turn developer mode off the password stays set to on. You will have to find that setting and turn it off.
