Imagine, turning on "Z10 mode" on your BlackBerry Passport, then wander over to BlackBerry World and get access to all the Z10 apps and games. All the apps would use the same number of pixels as the Z10, so the unused Passport pixels would be shut off/ignored while using these apps.

Imagine developers adding support for the Q10, Classic and Passport....

Most would work without too much coding... it's a matter of checking a box. Which is why many Android Apps are able to scale... they don't check to see if they are approved to run on this device.

Don't need a Z10 mode, just need BlackBerry to stop requiring approval for the 1x1 form factor. There are some apps that won't work, but I bet many will... it's just that developers have abandoned the platform and aren't going back to check some box.

Or better yet, BlackBerry world getting rid of the asinine practice of blocking apps from certain devices and let the users try. Just like desktop programs have done for years.

The dev says it's tested on these phones. If you try it on another, you are on your own.
