I want to move from my 32gb card to a 64Gb SD card or maybe (with Black Friday - Hangover Saturday - Cyber Monday fast approaching) a 128GB card.

I want to use all my music and photos on the 64GB.
Can I just copy from the 32GB and place everything on the 64/128GB card?
The Passport will read everything as normal?

    Has anyone tried this?
Also, did you have to download something to use the 128GB card?

    Should be as normal, yes.

As for downloading something, yes, BB10 requires a media card driver for exFAT formatted cards (which the new SD card probably will be). It's automatic upon inserting the SD card, assuming your OS is new enough (which it is).

Drag and drop. Much easier than using itunes or any software.

What i usually do when switching memory cards is make a 'CARD' folder on my computer and transfer the root to that... all the folders. Format both memory cards and copy the inside of the 'CARD' folder to the new card. Works everytime. I did this going from 32 to 64 on my Z10 and with countless NDS cards when I was nodding them.

Depending on the price it may not be worth it to go to 128. For the extra $30 you can buy a nice case or even a slimport adapter instead. I have over 150gb of music but I only really listen to about 30gb when on the go. The other 30ish is for pictures and some videos, but I usually reserve my videos to my tablet, playbook or laptop... if I'm gonna watch something I do it on the biggest screen available.

Also remember that the Passport has an extra 32gb stock. So almost 100gb is plenty.

BUT be warned tho! To begin using the new memory card make sure to format via device 1st as this will give you the least amount of issues and make sure it's an ultra high speed access type!

Just did this exact same thing this morning, 32 to 64.

What I did was just as an above poster did. Made a folder on my PC, plugged in my PP, dumped the old card to the folder, inserted new card in PP, formatted card inside PP(after new driver installed). Plugged my PP in again to my PC, dumped the conents of the folder onto the card and overwrote all the folder names. Everything works perfect.

Easy peasy and took about 30 minutes total.

I would stick with 64GB SD Cards because, you get much better read/write speeds v. the 128GB SD Cards...IMHO. The SanDisk 64GB Extreme series are getting 80-95mb/per sec read/write v. 30mb/per sec for 128GB.
